Last night was supposed to be about a Super Bowl rematch between the Arizona Cardinals and the Pittsburgh Steelers. That didn’t last very long when ESPN broke news early in the game that disgraced quarterback Michael Vick had signed with the Philadelphia Eagles. Vick was last seen in 2006 before he went to jail on dog fighting charges. Vick, known for his rocket arm and electric feat, will be the most polarizing player in the NFL in 2009 not named Terrell Owens.
There are three camps on Vick. Those who feel he paid his debt to society and should be allowed to play, those who always defended him and felt he was treated wrong back when the dog fighting scandal broke out a few years ago, and those that will always hate Michael Vick.
