Custom Youth Group T-Shirt Design

This great t-shirt design for a local church youth group was spotted on the printing floor at DesignAShirt.com recently.

When the designer was tracked down…it turned out that the church youth group was local – from St. Patrick Catholic Community in Scottsdale.

The shirt was created by a team lead by Natalie McClure, EDGE Coordinator and Life Teen Assistant. She explained:

The idea we wanted to get across was that the youth are the “fish” that the disciples, who were “fishers of men”, caught by passing on the Good News of Jesus Christ. However they are also the fisherman in the boat trying to bring people into the faith through evangelizing and sharing the Catholic faith that they learn more about at The Edge.

A beautiful day on Brooklyn Bridge …and a walk for the cause of curing juvenile diabetes while wearing custom t-shirts made for the event. That’s the irresistible combination that more than 60 friends, family members and co-workers from the New York office of Latham & Watkins LLP enjoyed last week.

Latham joined a host of other corporate and family teams at the Walk to Cure Diabetes 2011 for Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation International. The law firm has participated in the fund-raising event for the past 14 years.

This year, the Latham team wore custom t-shirts printed by DesignAShirt.com. They were designed by volunteer and team member Oscar Rivera, who has repeatedly won awards at the event for his custom team t-shirt designs.
